If Lindsey does go to the UK solo, I wonder if Christine will show up. She attended a show with Mick's Blues band.

Lindsey, please go to England and be wonderful to Christine and don't tell her she burned her bridges or that you're happy to have 33% more room. Tell her you love her and miss her.

That's how Lindsey should close his set. Christine would open and he could come and do a song with her. Then after he does his show, she should come out for that close.

I was thinking about Songbird last night. My friend was saying of Winnie the Pooh that he loved it when Eeyore said that he thought that Christoper Robin wanted to be alone (I think Eeyore just knew that tears were imminent and he wanted to get away before they started) and how he walked away out of the Enchanted Forest and everyone else just followed without words.

Well, unable to help myself, that reminded me of Fleetwood Mac and how on The Dance dvd they just put down their instruments and walk off stage without a word to the audience, following Don't Stop. I thought that was so cool. Then, Christine comes back for Songbird and she is the one who delivers the whole band's goodbye song. Which was lovely for the DVD.

But the tour was lovely with Farmer's Daughter with all of them at the foot of the stage too. So, it's 6 of one and half dozen of the other.

But, ok, we know that Christine would not perform songs in the plural, but what if she did come out and just do one? I would be happy to have her song, Songbird as the goodbye song in an LB solo set. Gives me chills.

Maybe it will be more than just local bands (although that would still be fun!)

he had an opening act on the Out of The Cradle tour.

Did he? I saw him at Peabody's Down Under in Cleveland. I don't remember one, but that doesn't mean there wasn't one.

Yep, he had one when I saw him at the Wiltern in Feb 93. A girl whose name I had forgotten by the next morning doing a solo acoustic set.

That certainly does ring a bell Chili. I think she was selling CD's at the venue now that I think of it.
