Silver Springs on the radio... Yippee!!!!

I heard this on the radio a few minutes ago and got really excited. I had never heard it on the radio before. Was the single version any different then the version from The Dance? It sounded like it was mixed a bit different... Anyways, it was very, very exciting!

I have two SS singles, one with Gypsy and the other with GDW, among others songs not included in THE DANCE CD (but of course present in the DVD).

The main difference I note is that it doesn't include Christine's "one, two,..."

Also, the DVD has PCM and Dolby. Of course I think Dolby 5.1 is better, but I can't hear the "one, two,..". And the Linear PCM does include that track.

That one, two, thing is the only thing i noticed. When they play it on my radio, it sounds like they took it from the dance CD - applause at the end, the works...They play it on my station all the time...sure wish they could play SOTM once in a while. "Classic rock! the same 5 songs from the bands you love, no matter how much good material they have!"

Yea, "SS" was released on 4 different singles from "The Dance." Most (If not, all) were the edited version of 4:47, rather than the actual 5:41. The major differences are the shorter intro, a shorter instrumental break between the "Time cast a spell on you..."'s and a shortened ending, with only one set of "rants," rather than two. Hope this helps...
