Better version of Gteta. But never connected with the "chamber" lyrics. Too much Ripunzul B.S.. Hate the king and queen crap like on TOSOTM

I wish the Wild Heart Dressing room demo went to the studio and release as a single.I do like the studio version though.

I'll go with the obvious one..."Smile At You"

I agree about Smile At You, and also The Nightmare ext. vs is way better than the album vs, imo...

This version of Doing The Best I Can.
It's just Stevie and the girls and the piano. This raw performance really brings out the emotion in the lyrics IMO. |

The "wall of sound" version of Thrown Down.
The version of Planets Of The Universe with the extra verse.

I'll add the outtake version of 'Beautiful Child' from the 2004 Tusk reissue and the outtake of 'Oh Daddy,' with vocals by Christine & Stevie only from the Rumours reissue.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I much prefer the TISL version of "My Heart" with the "shadows and the first sign of life..." part that was sorely missing in the IYD version.
I also prefer the first version of "Bombay Sapphires" that made it on to the TISL acetate before Stevie second guessed herself and re-recorded it with Macy Gray. Ew. The first version just sounds better and paints a better picture, I think. And I much prefer Stevie harmonizing with herself. Plus there's that added bridge, "mmm, but that's my dream, or so it seems" that pretty much puts the capper on what the song is actually about, whereas the other version doesn't. I also like the "Timespace" mixes of both "Violet & Blue" and "Battle Of The Dragon" a hell of a lot more than the "Enchanted" boxed set versions. The volume on the harmonies and the piano being brought higher into the mix on "Violet & Blue" makes so much of a difference. It really gets you rockin' out! |

I so agree! I wish she would rerecord it this way and put it out somehow.

There was a faster punchier version of "Sable on Blonde " that I liked much better
