Perhaps your fake tweet got us the press release. Maybe you should create a fake tweet re the track listing and see what happens.

This is amazing I'm very excited but why October 7th? That long! It'll do but thats a busy day for me, a FM concert in MSG, a new Mick book, and a new Stevie album!

And someone is on top of things as @StevieNicks re-tweeted Dave's tweet almost at the same time it was posted...
A new "Double Album" with a 48 page book from start to stores in 5 months...Looks like Mama is showing the Mac how it's done...

With any luck there will be a strong demand for "24 Karat" and FM will take notice and follow Stevie's lead with a deluxe vinyl release of their own...

The wiki track listing was bogus and we knew it but perhaps some "junior intern" at WB saw the fake tweet and thought it was real...Thinking the cat was out of the bag they issued a press release...Not very different from Mick spilling the beans at the book signing shortly after which Dave started tweeting...

So, let's just assume for a minute that:

1) we're getting 16 total tracks;
2) the '87 track is Joan of Arc; and
3) the mid-90s tracks are Space Needle and Have No Heart.

That means we could be getting,

1) 24 Karat Gold
2) Starshine
3) Have No Heart
4) Space Needle
5) Joan of Arc

Which leaves us with 11 tracks to go.

Does anyone have any guesses as to what the '69 track could be?

When Will We Love Again, Knocking On Doors, Anybody Out There?, Amber, See The World Go By, Amber, You Won't Forget Me, Farewell Failure, Take Advantage Of Me

Are all from the 1969-1974 era.

It's possible that a few of the tracks will be uncirculated songs we have never heard before...

I'm wondering if they will even bother with officially releasing a promotional single. Radio is not going to play it. And Stevie will be on tour with FM. Maybe she will drop SB and add one song from 24 Karat Gold that perhaps Christine maybe played on while she was in Nashville w/Stevie back in April.
Fleetwood Mac, coincidentally, will be in New York City October 6-7th, then have a 2 day break before Boston Oct. 10th. So I expect Stevie will make the daytime & evening talk show rounds on the east coast to promote 24 Karat. The question will be if she flys out her players to do any solo performances of a single or any material from the new release.

Personally, I'd prefer Joan Of Arc, absoluteley. But, I could envision a modern update of the 80s screamer WHRREDFY too. This is going to be amazing whatever the songs are!

I can totally picture a very very very campy What has Rock and Roll... or a super dark Joan of Arc. Praying for Joan.

That's funny, because I was thinking the opposite on WHRREDFY. The 80s outtake, to me, is very "campy". I like it, it's catchy, but the whistles and the 80s production are over the top. I would imagine if this song was dug out and re-recorded, it would be much more raw & modern rock. Joan Of Arc would be sublime.

I believe you are right. I really hope Maker of Birds is on that list.
