Wow, I find the "no ones really commented on it before" thing interesting, we should all e-mail him to let him know how much we really enjoy this.

i was thinking the same thing, we can all bombard him with emails at once. maybe he will get a clue and try to do something more with the song so maybe one day it can be released.

If you all DO email him, make sure you thank him not only for allowing you to listen to it, but also for the fact he wrote it, produced it and did such a great job getting a great vocal out of her. This is truly one of her best non-FM studio performances out there and nobody has done that since Jimmy Iovine and maybe S. Crow. Remember its NOT always about Stevie!

Well, interesting turn this thread has taken, as I did e-mail him earlier and this was our correspondance :
On Mar 19, 2009, at 12:15 PM Thank you for Call On Me For Magic! Stevie Nicks' online fans are going crazy for this. I don't know much about music, but it seems Stevie has a small range-but she seems to stretch herself in this song. Are you as pleased with this song as we are? Also, kudos for being a great song-writer-I never knew you wrote songs as well as all the great work with a diverse group of artists. Thanks again for sharing this gem. Sincerely, Ricoh Vigen his response: Hi Ricoh. Yes, Stevie did really stretch on Magic. When I was working with her on Changes I realized she could stretch like that if she had a big melody, and I thought of that song. I write lots of stuff, but don't ever show it to anyone. Mostly I stick to the ballets I write, which are up on my site too. All instrumental... Glad you like the song. And I was very lucky to have Stevie sing it. She's so sweet... cheers, david |

Well AnthonyMI, I passed along your response in another e-mail to him. Wouldn't it be wild if enough fan interest and correspondence actually spurred it to happen? Fat chance, I know, but heres to trying...Cheers, Ricoh |

I love this idea.
And I love this song. And now I want Stevie to be in a musical. |

I am still loving this "new" song! Man, I hate to hear the lady talking about being bored with her solo career, when she can pull out stuff like this and get it out to the audiences.

Is it? I just realized that I listen to TISL all the time because it's one of my faves but I always listen to the demos and outtakes and not the released CD. I guess I should revisit that CD.
