IKR. I found some of it quite entertaining, but I wouldn't nominate it for one Emmy script or acting wise, let alone 17.

I might give it an Emmy for make up, but that's all I can say.

I mean, it's fun to see people eating the scenery. Great camp, but don't say it's one of the best things on television this year.

She could play it onstage during her solo shows, if she was interested in playing guitar on stage.

Well, she said that if she played, she could imagine him yelling at her that she was out of tune, but she also said because she wasn't good at it, there'd be no point, as it would be just for show and she'd be too nervous. I don't think she wanted to do waste her time or the audience's on something she'd only be doing halfway, when she felt her singing and performance were 100%.

In fact I think her words were "It would be f*cking great".

Christine was certainly stoned when she said that.

Jessica Lange's acting was most definitely emmy worthy!

I was hoping that at beginning of this season, they would do a prolog from last season and have Stevie rescue that witch from hell.

I thought it was over-acting. Gave me a lot of laughs, to be sure, but I don't think it tapped deep skills.

hopefully Stevie is comfortable enough now in herself to know that who gives a sh !t if she's any good. It's how she plays and that's just how it is

Each season is a "stand alone" story that have nothing to do with previous seasons.

But she's not interested. She's not a professional musician. She may use the guitar, or usually the piano, to plunk out medleys when she is writing songs, but other than that, her talent is in her writing, singing and performing. Her musician skills with those instruments never developed beyond a certain level.

The new season has already been filmed and we've already been given a preview.
It's called "Freakshow" and takes place in a mid 20th century traveling carnival. It has nothing to do with "Coven", just like the three previous seasons had nothing to do with each other.

Finally catching up on this season. Haven't got to the Stevie part yet (I'm on episode 5 or 6), so just her music. I am shocked Stevie allowed her music on this show and actually appeared on it. Really, really surprised. I do like the series and this season is great as I love me some Kathy Bates. But it's so violent, bloody and weird. That sex/masturbation scene with Gabourey Sidibe and a minotaur was highly disturbing.

Seems like nothing Stevie would ever watch or even condone it if she actually watched it! Haha. Maybe it's just cheeky fun.

stevie is certainly NO saint mother Theresa. Hell, she was pregrent MULTIPLE times by MULTIPLE men. I am sure she did manage e toi and kinky stuff ALL the time in the 70's and maybe well into the 80's. I bet she even kissed a girl, and LIKED it :0)

It is just a show, and it was amazing. Good writing. And FUN. Better than 98% of the CRAP on TV these days. Lord knows there is hardly any scripted TV left that issnt a rehash of a Lawyer or Hospital Show or a Friends wannabe.

Yes, she's never portrayed herself as a nun and has frequently shown her appreciation for (sometimes awfully lowbrow) escapist fiction. To be surprised that she'd enjoy such a show is interesting to me, Richard B. What are some shows that you would expect her to watch, out of curiosity? Not being argumentative, just curious.
