Lindsey has always loved Al Jolson.
Him portraying Jolson on the cover
was considered very risque for the time.

In Stevie and Lindsey's side project Fleetwood Mac, they would go on to make the obscure albums such as the self-titled Black Album, Truths (they went on the Bald-Faced Lies tour afterwards), Antler, whatever the reverse of a Mirage is (help me, Word isn't giving me anything), and Waltz in the Day.

Following the release of Waltz in the Day, Lindsey got kicked out of the band by Mick when Stevie called him short (realize that Stevie is 6'6" and Mick is 5'1") and they went on to make the mega-hit albumIn Front of the Hat. After a few years, they reunited in a reunion concert on Nickelodeon called The Orgy. A few years later, they went on to make the album Said I Won't.

The track listing for Truths, which was a hard album to make cause Stevie brought the kids into the studio and caused tons of trouble while in there for the band, goes as follows. All the tracks were mega-flops when released as singles and Warner Bros. threatened to drop them.

First Hand Oldies
Nightmares
Going There First
Do Go
Come On and Follow Me
Noisedog
The String
I Make Hating Awful
Please Tell Me
Uh Mommy
Silver Block Man

Of course, the Nicks Buckingham album would include my favorite song 'Melted Hate'.

It'd also have Short Distance Loser, and their next album would have had songs such as Friday Night, She's So Happy, and Athena.

Did I also tell you guys about a song that had to get yanked from Truths by John cause he wanted to put a song on there as a tribute to penguins everywhere, but that ended up getting yanked too cause Warner Bros. wanted a song on there as a tribute to Looney Tunes that never came to be cause Lindsey didn't wanna write it? It was called Gold Lake and Stevie got the idea from a town she was visiting a drug dealer in.

I may be as weak as you
And you may care to teach me
It will be easy to be behind you
But you'll never be able to reach me

And if I go backward, You'll miss me there
And if I climb down through the warm balmy air
Look up above you; don't look below
And laugh out loud to death for warm hatred

Death gave you me; the corpse was made
And there's a beginning under
I'm happy, but what is hate?
Love gave me you for a hater

And if I go backward, You'll miss me there
And If I climb down through the warm balmy air
Look up above you; don't look below
And laugh out loud to death for hot hatred

From the Nicks Buckingham CD Lyric booklet,
the Deluxe Edition.

(hot hatred, somebody do better than that!)

Nicks Buckingham would also include the number 1 hits 'Lindsey', 'Let Me Down, Just One Time', and 'Laughing In the Day'.
