The Official Stevie's Backpack Thread

This was the funniest shizz I've read in recent memory, like genius level, but it won't fit in my sig.

Might as well make it an official thread, right? Sure, it isn't as important as chapstick or gum, but I'm hoping y'all will get a laugh. And perhaps you can add things to the backpack, but Sparky nailed it hard.

Great idea! I'm lucky that I found it hidden in some other thread, but I would hate to think that others had missed it. Oh, Amber, I think you should let everyone know why Sparky chose this compose to ode to Stevie's backpack. It's even funnier then.

Well, I can't wait anymore. It was written after Amber posted that she initially misheard the "Greta" lyric as "she's got her backpack, and she's off to the valley...."

Thank God for Amber and her frequent mishearing of lyrics, and thank God for Sparky and his writing prowess.

You forgot the ending.

Years later, Stevie was having another impromptu party when it was discovered by yet another unknown party crasher that wandered in and out of her LA home. It was lying in the back of Stevie's closet under a discarded shawl which, until recently, was used as a standby bed for one of her yorkies. It contained various demo tapes, which the crasher thusly stole and let out into the world. The backpack iteself was sold on EBAY and later ended up at Wynnco.

I don't understand alla that mushy mushmouth singing either, but right before the guitar solo she says something about Lucky Charms.

I do think near the end she may also say "Backpack in the doorway, sitting in the doorway, been waitin there all day all these years."
