I have it on VHS, but not in digital format. They played "Miles Away" & "Believe Me". Chuck Berry introduced them! This is just about the only live thing we have of the Mystery To Me line-up.

If you go to Bob Welch's own site, he has a live recording of the MTM lineup playing "Black Magic Woman". That is really something to hear...it's GREAT!

I forgot about that. I had downloaded that awhile back. That's a great version of "Black Magic Woman". I wonder if he has more live Fleetwood Mac tracks from those years.

If he's got THAT recording, I'll bet he's got that whole show. That would INCREDIBLY interesting to hear an entire MTM-era live show....especially one with THAT sound quality.

Songs I know for a fact they've played live that I someday would like to have live recordings of (if they exist):

Revelation
Night Watch
Remember Me
(a Fleetwood Mac concert recording...I know Christine did this at the Bob Welch & Friends Live At The Roxy show)
Rattlesnake Shake (from 1975, with Lindsey on lead vocal)
The Bigger The Love ("Time" tour)

Yeah, it aired 11/2/73 so it must've been recorded right before everything fell apart.

I put my VHS of it on DVD so I can rip it back to my computer & create an MPEG file but my e mail account won't attach such a big file.

If someone can explain to me how to post it (blush) I'll be happy to try when I can. I don't have the Chuck Berry intro bit though, I had to trim some of the fat to fit some things on to the DVD so...

John, do you know how to use YouSendIt? You should be able to upload video files from your hard drive, although I've only used it for mp3 music files.

http://www.yousendit.com/

And, here's another site, in case you have trouble with YouSendIt:

http://rapidshare.de/

OK well the Rapidshare link didn't work & Yousendit looks like a page to e mail them. I mean, you guys can PM me your e mail addresses if you want, but I thought it'd be easier to post it here or some site that would post it & give the link. Either way is fine with me but I'd imagine it'd be easier for all to see in one place rather than sending multiple e mails, y'know?

John

Has anyone ever asked Bob if he has that entire show? I thought he was thinking about offering tracks for download for a minimal fee. I'd gladly pay him to get that entire show, if he has it. I wonder if he had to get Mick's permission to post "Black Magic Woman".

chiliD, "Nightwatch" is on that 1974 Chicago bootleg that's in circulation. Unfortunately, the quality is quite poor. I would grade it as C quality. But it is out there.

Yeah, that bootleg is SO bad (sound qualitywise) that I keep trying to forget it exists. (they also do "I Loved Another Woman" on that one, too...I wish it was a better recording)

I've heard (or TRIED to hear) it a number of times...which keeps me from actively trying to own it.

YouSendIt does ask for an e-mail address, but all it does is send an e-mail with a link to the webpage to which you upload your file! When I use YouSendIt, I usually just put in my own e-mail address and then post the link to the file here on the Ledge.
