thanks. so Stockholm one seems to be heavier, basically referring to mortality, i guess because they just found out about John.

Vegas one is more amalgam of his usual SG intro on this tour, with the addition of a new year reference, and i guess what he must learned in Stockholm if not before, that she gets mad when he dedicates a song to her.

don't you just hate it when he says "we'll just do one more and get outta here"?

i also found it interesting that Christine was, similarly to many audiences, frustrated by them insisting on always ending the set with a quiet song. that must have originated from Stevie and / or Lindsey, since both FM and LB's solo shows always end up with the quiet song (do Stevie's too?). that frustrated me to no end when i saw first few solo shows - why not leave them wanting more, Lindsey, and end on exuberant note?!

In 2004 at the end of the tour, for SG he said it's been too many years -- or maybe it hasn't been enough.

I really enjoyed that one.
Stop it, you two. You're going to make me cry

Yeah, Stevie likes to end with a piano ballad. The Big Three - Beauty & The Beast, Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You? and Love Is.

I like SnL ending with Say Goodbye and I have no shame in saying so, lol.

He knew it before. He said that in 2004 too in PA, that she got mad at him about his sentimental dedication the night before and noted that she hated when she said those things to her and she demurred and kind of said, I couldn't fully hear her, but she kind of said, "it's your song. Say what you want."

But when the dame had the chance to end her own show the way she wanted in 1984, she ended with Songbird too.

For the VHS tape, she ended with Over My Head, but on the tour itself she ended with Songbird.

She'll be back for a summer tour. What other reason would they have to wait for about five months to go back out OR to go back out so soon after they just toured?

Christine's back.

I'm assuming it's because she doesn't wanna get into it?

I have a feeling that Christine will be back, but maybe not for the summer tour. I hope not, at least. I would REALLY like to have some money in the bank again! Christ help me if she does, though.

I would really love another EP as well, featuring one or two of her songs. Wishful thinking probably.

Well to concoct a new album from her recordings and some work for Stevie too?

I think it will be the same show with Lindsey, Stevie, John, & Mick. Maybe they'd include Christine in the show by performing more of her songs but I think Christine in 2015 at Glastonbury. I guess they'll perform in cities they didn't do in '13 like Brooklyn, Wichita, Atlantic City, Austin. Stevie said at the show at MGM Vegas that we'll see them in 2014 so I think they'll perform at MGM again. The casino most likely pays them a bundle to play there. 3 shows at MGM in 2013!

Will the tour be: "Live 2014"?

Although this is true Michelle, have you ever seen Mick get choked up at the end like that as well? I know him to be emotional, and have seen him cry, but not like that.

Well, all in all, you're probably right. As much as I want to see Chris again, I may have to hunker down and wait.
