Heads up for those planning to see the Mt Clemens show

I wanted to post this to alert those of you that are planning to attend the Mt Clemens show October 22. There could potentially be some traffic problems if the Detroit Tigers make the world series. The show falls on the night of the second game of the series which would be played in Detroit if they make it. I looked at the map, and to get to Mt Clemens, the main way is to go on 94 right thru downtown. Believe me if the game happens there will be big traffic problems. This is one time my sports knowledge actually pays off.

Just an update on this situation. The Tigers have won the first 2 games of their series against Oakland on the road so the liklihood that they will be in the World Series is pretty high. Maybe it wont be that big of a deal because the show is G.A so people will probably line up early, but I jsut wanted to provide some possibly useful info.

Allright folks, here's the deal. Since there will now be a World Series game in Detroit the night of the Lindsey show, here are a few suggestions to avoid the hassle. First, I know it's a GA show anyway so I assume some of you wil be there early enough. But for those of you planning on arriving later, to avoid the hassle of traffic and not to ba late to the show, I would suggest taking an alternate route than going on 94 thru downtown after about 3PM or so. Just some thoughts to help ensure you dont get stuck.
