It's crazy that a 28 year old greatest hits album was the 77th (I think) best selling album of 2015 and now reaches 25 in 2016. That is awesome. Just shows how timeless the music is.

I believe last week it racked up 17000 in units sold or however they figure it. Hits Daily Double had it up at #12. Pretty impressive because the highest selling album of all time (Eagles 71-75) was at #10 with just a couple more thousand and as we all know they experienced a horrible tragedy. Which always spikes sales, look a David Bowie's new album. Still in the top 5. I wish it didn't take that to open mainstream's eyes to great bands.

17,000 units is amazing. It originally peaked at 14. 28 years later, it is 25. Crazy. Cannot believe it has not been certified more than 8 M. This one needs to get to 10M and get diamond status.

I wonder if the CD's in the $5 buck bin at Walmart are helping sales.I already got two out of the bin and it looks like they reload with more copies every week.

I never bought that thing. With Time, I think it's the only official FM-albumrelease I don't own.

iTunes is making the album chart so high but it always seems to stay around the #80 mark anyway so you could be right.

Amazing. They have not released anything in 13 years and this thing sells like this. Proof that endless oldies tours actually do get results in terms of $$$$$ if nothing else.

Yea I hope so.I never include digital for sales since they are nothing compared to the hardcopy.Us folks that dont mind lugging around hard copies are keeping them rolling.I should add sales from the vinyl copy is helping too.Now we just need a cassette,8track and reel to reel copy to be released.I still have the equipment to play them.
