Hmmm, defintely between "Come", "Red Rover", "Murrow" or the muck that became "Smile at You" once Lindsey destroyed it...
Hmmm, Ok... "Red Rover" Oye! At least Lindsey kept his paws off of "Destiny Rules". Wonder what "Silver Girl" would have been in John Shanks hands...?!

Although after many listens now it isn't AS bad as I originally thought it was...the obvious choice is...
Silver Girl. |

Why????
How can anyone hate "Silver Girl," I cannot even believe the massive hate towards the song. Anyway I vote that "Bleed To Love Her" to be voted off. It's almost as if they just stuck on a proven hit to sell an album. It makes me feel as if we were cheated out of a song. Now they should of stuck "Not Make Believe" in BTLH's place.

Well, it would be real easy to go along with the majority here and say "Silver Girl" but honestly, I'd have to cast my vote for
"Running Through The Garden". To me, RTTG sounds like it belongs on a Stevie Nicks solo album not on a Fleetwood Mac album.

Illume. Really, I can't get through the whole song without jumping up to press the little forward arrow key on the cd player, lol.

Joe...
I agree with seteca in that it's not AS bad as originally thought, but it's mostly the lyrics I don't like...the music is alright (not terrific, just alright). I think the melody is okay, maybe needs a little kick in the rear a bit, more uptempo. I'm looking at this poll as "What's the WEAKEST song on the album?" That would be SG, IMO.

I have to agree.
Silver Girl is the weakest track on the album IMO. It's not really that bad at all, it just doesn't sit well on this particular record. It's slow tempo is more suited to Trouble In Shangri-La I feel. If you ask me, it went on the wrong album. |
