Default Thinking of going to the London concert...

...and needing answers to a couple of questions here: How expensive are the hotels in London? And which is the cheapest?
I'm just trying to estimate the cost of a London trip and how much I would need to save...
Thankful for any help!

~Emma~

Emma... there are hundreds and hundreds of hotels in London, LOL! It ranges from cheap bed and breakfasts to five star hotels. There will be something to suit your price range.

Off the top of my head....

there are B&B's in the Earls Court/Kensington area starting at around £30 a night....

and most of the 5 star-deluxe hotels on Park Lane start at about £250 and go up to about £5,000 a night.

Then there are about 10,000 hotels/inns in between!! lol!!

Hope you can make it! It's gonna be an amazing weekend!!

Well, thanks so much you guys!! I knew there'd be a lot of hotels to choose from, lol, but I just wanted to know what price range to expect, since all I've heard is that it's expensive in London.

I did great on expedia.com. Air and hotel packages were AMAZING!! Flying on American round trip and staying at Comfort Inn Kensington (walk to arena) for 5 nights $638 per person includes all!!

Cool

It really depends on how much you want to spend and where you want to stay.

Just to warn you though Earls Court is quite close to Kensington in the West of London which can be quite expensive. I'm travelling up from Southampton and staying the night in a four star hotel which is costing me £69 (roughly $112) for the night but you could do it a lot cheaper.

I don't think you'd necessarily need to stay really close to Earls Court. The underground is mostly safe up to about 11.30 and with so many coming out of the venue there'll be a lot of people about. If I were you though I'd pick a hotel near to a tube station so you wouldn't have far to walk when you were going home.

Hope this helps.

Gail

Thanks for that tip, Bob - I just checked them out too - I'm going to Amsterdam before London and expedia gave me some ideas....

Default For all Ledgies coming to Earls Court...

Just wanted to say for anybody who's coming to the Earls Court show and isn't sure about their way around town, please feel totally free to drop me a PM or an email with any questions...I know London inside out and I'd be glad to give transport/accommodation advice to anyone who needs it.
