Default Our beloved Greeny

Hello from Italy!

A small news on Peter......"he's fine and happy and looking forward to the future, not back to the past", which is good to know, I believe!

Having said that, Martin Celmins book on Duster Bennett is on schedule for
publication in May/June 2007.

There will be over 100 photos, many never published before.

Mario.

Thanks, Mario! It's always good to hear good news on Greeny. Good news about the Duster Bennett book too. Any word on whether there may be any new edition of Martin Celmins' biography of Peter in the future?

Yes, thanks!
After all he's given to music, Green deserves to be happy.
Hope he's relaxing on his porch playing some mean blues guitar!

No, I don't think so, as Martin is very busy at moment writing articles for Classic Rock Magazine, due next spring for publication:

1-a 6 pages band feature on P.Green's F.Mac
2-a Long John Baldry profile
3-a feature about the Crawdaddy Club and Giorgio Gomelsky

Mario.

Some would consider Spring 2007 as this Spring and Spring 2008 as next Spring. Just wanted to be clear.

Would it be premature to think this means an album of all new material soon?

Yes, I think that talking about a new album now could be only "guess work".

But I'm sure that the forthcoming dvd "Man Of The World" has something
really interesting, as I've been told just today "something to looking forward to"........

By the way, the company making the dvd needed some good shots of Peter,so I've been working hard this week choosing the best photos for the dvd, and I ended up to squeeze 18 of them onto a cdr and send it to Steve Graham at Bringing Multimedia Ltd in London.

Cheers,

Mario.

I thought I read somewhere on the Ledge that this was a TV documentary. Is it that or a straight to DVD production. Whichever it is, is there any date when it will be available?

It mentions a couple of names of people somehow related to Peter. Wonder if that includes Danny in the state he is right now?????
It's a TV documentary? I've seen a couple of documentaries, The history of FM, Rock Family Trees, A Hard Road, The Early Years.
Would this be an excerpt of each or all of it together?
