That is so great that it's there for everyone to hear!! I really do love that acoustic version of Friend, it almost makes me cry, she sounds so beautiful. I have it on right now.... It's almost like she's here in my kitchen just doodling away on her keyboard and singing along. Very pretty.

Nice interview, aside from the fact that the interviewer is a stuttering stumbling fool who can't seem to ask a coherent question. Btw, you don't have to download, just click to stream.

Yeah, I know. David Dye does seem to have trouble getting the words out sometimes. But, he was sitting face to face with Christine. He did better than I would have done. I don't think I would have been able to get any words out of my mouth at all.

So when Chris gingerly suggested that perhaps the new Fleetwood album had "too much guitar," I bet she was thinking of "Come" or "Murrow."

Shame on her...that would be like saying that Then Play On had "too much guitar". tsk, tsk, tsk.

I think she was being sarcastic as later she said she's a frustrated guitar player.

She's always let LB go with the guitar stating, "when someone is that good you let then play."

I don't think she was being sarcastic. Remember on one of those video clips on her website, she mentioned that she & Dan have similar tastes-they both hate guitar solos. I think it's the excessive guitar solos that she hates, not necessarily guitar play in general.

I also agree about "Come" & "Murrow". I just can't see her liking that type of song. She certainly wouldn't be the first person to dislike those songs.

I totally agree. I think those particular songs would maybe be a bit beyond her scope of guitar appreciation (or am I just projecting my own feelings onto her?)

Funny about how David Dye stumbles over the questions. I swear, any one of us would be doing the same thing LOL. I chuckle at how he attempts to ask if Dan is her brother's son, he just sputters away. Of course this is said w/ much empathy; I myself used to have a pretty bad stutter and I still avoid phone calls like the plague.

That's too bad cos those are my fav's off SYW. And I'm not crazy about the rest of SYW (well most of it). HAHA!

Default thanks

I just downloaded that interview and was blown away by the acoustic version of "Friend." The guitar-keyboard interaction is exciting...it reminds me a bit of "Honey Hi" and "Never Forget."

And what a treat to know "Bare Trees" and "Spare Me..." were played on the radio! My only complaint was that the portion of "Don't Stop" featured Lyndsey's vocals, not Christine's.
