Christine on Philly radio on Wednesday!

Someone just posted on Christine's website that she'll be on World Cafe radio on 88.5 WXPN in Philadelphia on Wednesday afternoon. It sounds like the guy who posted this information is the same guy who's going to interview her. What a lucky guy he is.

He also mentioned that they're going to play an acoustic version of one of her songs from ITM. That sounds like acoustic Friend. For those who can't get iTunes, here's your chance to hear it.

Thanks for posting aobut this! Is this something that can be saved on my computer? I'm so clueless about this stuff. I will listen at 2 PM but I might like to hear it more than once.

I listened to the audio stream this morning. It plays on Windows Media Player, but I can't figure out how to save it to my hard drive. Maybe you can't. However, I've found this station on my radio. I'm going to try how to figure out how to tape it. Hopefully, I'll be able to figure this out. I still would have no way of transferring it to CD or to get someone to post it on their website.

Hmmmm that's true, I should see if I can just tape it off the radio. Not sure I get that Philly station though, I get more NY ones here. Will have a look later.

Lis, I did figure out how to tape this show off my radio today. I sent them an e-mail asking about a transcript or MP3 of the interview. By the way, it looks like the interview will be replayed again on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

By the way, there's a note in the news section of Christine's website about this show. It refers to Christine's recent session/interview with the World Cafe host, David Dye. It sort of implies that this isn't live & maybe the acoustic performance might not necessarily be the iTunes acoustic Friend, but an actual performance. Maybe she taped this while she was in New York last month.

Thanks for the info, I will try and tape it but I don't think the reception will be good enough.

I had figured it was probably from her NY visit last month, but that's fine w/ me if it's not 'live'. It's still a new interview w/ chris!
