Always so good to hear her. sigh. I loved hearing her talk about FM history, how she met John and joined band...what her mum was like etc....

Cool interview. And it ended before my kids got home from school so I could actually hear all of it.

also how great was it to hear Spare Me A Little on the radio!?!

And I really loved the acoustic 'friend'. I hadn't heard that before, it was really nice. Her voice sounded so clear and strong and gorgeous!!!

It was very cool to hear a few songs off Bare Trees. This interview was obviously done last month when she was in New York. It was great hearing her talk about the early days, especially when she talked about her mother. It was amusing to hear what she had to say about Say You Will-"a bit too much guitar". Also, her nephew wrote "Calumny" 10 years ago. I had assumed that he wrote it for Chris for the album. All in all, a very cool interview. And, I got it on tape. I'm playing it back right now.

Yes, that's the iTunes exclusive. I think it's beautiful.

It was nice to hear her talk about her mother but such a shame she died relatively young.

I thought it was odd she said that Say You Will had a bit too muich guitar and then went on to say that she was guitar nut (I think she said) and that's why there's so much guitar on ITM!

She still thinks FM got back together because of the Clinton inauguration. It seems she has erased Time from her memory!

Still it was lovely to hear her voice.

I'm not sure that the Time line up really 'felt' like Fmac to her....??

She sounds pretty happy. Her new album is solid. You Are sounded great on the radio! I love Christine McVie what can I say. She deserves the run.

I know, but the guitars are so different on the 2 albums, She may have been referring to the excessive guitar solos on SYW. Remember her comment about guitar solos on that video clip on her website.

I agree. In that 1995 online chat, I believed she referred to the Time line up as a bizarre collection of people. Maybe in her mind, she thinks of Behind The Mask as the end of Fleetwood Mac. I'm not sure she even thinks of the current line up as completely authentic Fleetwood Mac. She did refer to it as Buckingham/Nicks with Mick & John in the background.

Yes she probably did mean that.

Buckingham/Nicks backed by Fleetwood & McVie - that's what I first thought when I knew Chris wouldn't be on the next album. Great minds think alike!

*sigh* I hope they post an MP3 or a transcript of it at some point because I wasn't able to listen to it since the nearest city it's played in is 3 hours away. I'd love to hear it.
