I was just starting to get excited about the concert and came on here this morning to news of the postponement. I wish Neale a speedy recovery and hope the new dates are announced soon. It's not too much of a problem for me as I live 5 miles from The Lowry but I feel sorry for others who have made special arrangements to get to the concerts.

Just checked LiveNation this morning, and they're still selling tickets to the postponed concerts. I wish these people would talk to each other.

Same for me - I can get to both The Lowry and The Leeds 02 without too much difficulty and I have no problems with any re-scheduled dates either. I'd cancel any plans to attend these shows!

LB's page wasn't hacked, this isn't a joke and whatever travel arrangements you have made for these shows, I would cancel them now. Neale has been going through some serious trouble with his back on nearly the entire SWS tour, and is scheduled for surgery at the end of the month to take care of this issue. Thank you to all of you who have wished him well, and who have been compassionate and understanding of the circumstances. Lindsey's band members are not replaceable, they are his family and have become so over the decades. It's not as easy as calling someone else, rehearsing for a while and getting that same comfort level as the well-oiled machine that they already have. For those of you who haven't had kind things to say, please be reminded that several band members (from both camps) read this board. Let's all come together and accept the postponement, however disappointed we may be, and extend positive vibes to the guy who needs it. Thanks!
I certainly do accept the postponement - but just so long as we are not let down by a total cancellation. Please give us something positive with re-scheduled dates soon.

Good luck and get well soon Neale!

Default Live Nation

Finally received an email from Live Nation to confirm postponement of the tour and to advise everyone to hang on to their tickets/packages which will remain valid for the soon to be re-scheduled dates.

So at least we now know for certain it's all for real!

Ludicrous. Selling tickets to concerts they have no idea of the dates they will (hopefully) take place.

Gill.

It looks like word is getting round. The Birmingham venue says tickets no longer available for sale. Edinburgh too by the look of it.
Live Nation has finally updated it's website.

Gill.

I had an email from The Lowry 20 minutes ago to announce the postponement. I booked direct with them rather than through an agency.

It's good that the word is getting out. Am yet to hear from ticketmaster but assume I will in next day or so.

Now I wish there was some way all of us here in the UK could somehow tell Lindsey how disappointed and devastated we all are, and to plead with him to come out with new dates very soon.

Just want him to know how much we all want this!

I reckon he knows how disappointed we all are - who knows who is reading this board?

Still no email from ticketmaster. Cant say I'm shocked.

Yup - it's official. I spoke to the Edinburgh venue earlier and they've said that they're waiting on rescheduled dates. I'll have to wait for Ticketmaster to advise me of that date though because obviously Usher Hall will only notify people who booked through them. I don't trust Ticketmaster to even let me know... so I'm putting my trust in The Ledge instead! I'm watching the Songs From The Small Machine dvd now.
