This is BRILLIANT!! I agree!!

We need more rare Danny stuff and this time era is the most mysterious.

Actually, FG and BT do fit nicely on one CD. I burned both for my travelling collection. I hate hauling a bunch of CDs with me whenever I travel.

I'd love to have a great compilation from that era!

I hope Rhino does a good remastering job on the earlier albums. I think Then Play On and Future Games in particular are badly in need of improved sound.

Ok, I feel a bit like the youngster that keeps asking 'How much longer?', but does anyone care to venture a guess as to when we might see re-issues of the likes TPO, KH, FG & BT. Would two years after these first re-issues of 1975 FM, Rumours & Tusk be too soon? Like everyone else, I'm really looking forward to that date!

Wild guesses here (or...make ME marketing director and I would):

Release Mirage, Tango In The Night, Behind The Mask and (if they're going to) Buckingham Nicks in late June/early July. All the pre-1975 albums & Time late October/early November. Just make sure that the entire Fleetwood Mac catalogue reissues would be in stores (either real or on-line) by the Christmas buying season.

ChiliD, your wild guess is most welcome! I think we would all be thrilled with this potential outcome. I nominate ChiliD for the marketing director position!

I don't know about marketing director, but you surely get my vote for optimist of the year!

I think ChiliD is engaging in some wishful thinking. I hope it happens, but I'll believe it when I see it. I only hope Rhino doesn't lose interest in reissuing the whole Warner/Reprise catalogue if this first batch doesn't sell that well. The ones I'm really looking forward to most of all are the 5 Bob Welch era albums. And, Bob sounded pretty skeptical in his Q & A that they would ever be reissued.

Rhino hasn't done a reissue series "half-assed", so, yeah, I'm as optomistic as hell.

Case in point, Elvis Costello's catalogue...after about what, his third album, none of his albums sold in large numbers, but they remastered, re-issued EVERY ALBUM with hoards of bonus tracks on each album.
