Default Finding Fleetwood Mac at odd times

I recently just spent several thousand bucks on a new audio/visual media system. Several days ago I was watching the guy install everything. When he went to test the TV I couldn't believe it; the first thing that came on was the Live in Boston concert.

Apparently he selected the PBS station and it happened to be broadcasting the Soundstage concert at that very moment! I still can't believe it. The guy watched a bit of it and commented on how Stevie looked great for being 60. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

When I installed stuff for Geek Squad I always had a copy of either Live in Boston, or the Say You Will DVD-audio. One customer, I specifically remember loved the LIB so much that he wanted to buy it. It was "store property" as I had loaned it out. I just gave it to him anyway

Nice! I hope I get a chance to visit New Zealand someday...but this may be as close as I get! It's one of my top 10 destinations on my wish list. Plus, I love the Finn family -- Neil, Tim and the rest of the crowded house.

I'm so jealous! If only time-travel was possible! I'd be there in minutes!

Yesterday I was in the car while waiting for my mother. When she came back, she had her friends daughter (She likes pop and Britney). So anyway, as were going to drop her home, I found the courtesy to turn of my Mac Compilation CD. When I tunred it off, the classic hits station was on - and gues what was on?

Everywhere! I had to tell my mother that the CD was definitely turned off!

Anyone catch the scene with Dreams playing in the background on this week's episode of Big Love?

Default Coincidence; I think not......

Two years ago, I flew to Pensacola, FL, to purchase a car,

When I started the long drive home, the first song on the radio, (previous owners pre-set station), was;

"Edge of Seventeen", (my personal fav from Stevie),

Could not believe the coincidence.

Well I had a similar experience. I bought a new car. When I drove it off the lot, I turned on the radio. First song - Rhiannon. The fact that the first thing to come out of that speaker was Fleetwood Mac - made sense.

When I buy my new car, I'm bringing a CD to be sure it happens again.

I remember assembling toys on Christmas eve about 5 years ago and one of the toys was a Barbie camper that had a real radio in it. We got the camper together, but couldn't get the radio to play. We spent an hour trying to make that thing work and when it finally did, "Little Lies" was blasting from the tiny speakers.

It's no surprise to hear FM when you're out and about, but sometimes it's mindboggling to hear them EVERYWHERE you go. Wednesday, I heard YMLF in a drug store and then when I went to get something to eat I heard Dreams. Finally, back in my car I was listening to a money program and the guy was talking about post-holiday credit card debt. They played "Over My Head" in the background, as he discussed how to pay down your overwhelming credit card balances.

It made me wonder what the record is for hearing Fleetwood Mac randomly during the day.

I was in a job interview many moons ago... and I did not have FM's Box Set yet...

Heart of Stone came over the PA system very lightly.. .... I knew it was Christine... but didn't know what song it was..... I was so distracted!!! I did get the job..

They would have identified me as a nut and I never would have gotten the job. To hear a song I didn't know for the first time in public like that and -- since I liked Heart of Stone -- to hear something new that rocked that I did not own yet . . . especially back then when I was younger and sillier . . . I would not have been able to concentrate on anything else.

I almost made a complete d#@&k of myself yesterday, as usual I was listening to Stevie's Enchanted Box set whilst driving, I had just turned down the volume to Blue Lamp as I was in a very public place lol [Woolworth's car park] I parked my car, got out & was about to cross the road, when i heard SARA playing in a guy's parked 4WD, I was about to run over to his car & say great song hey!! or did go to F/M concert & are you a fan too!! then it crossed my mind that maybe he could just be listening to the radio, so quickly jumped back into my car, went through all of the stations & there it was playing on the radio That could of been one BIG embarrassing moment.. I walked away laughing to myself.
