Default Stevie and John Shanks

Has Stevie spoken about her experiences working with John Shanks? Like whether she connected with him, enjoyed working with him, felt he crafted her music beautifully, etc? I do like the material he produced for her, like TBAA, TISL, and POTU. I wasn't crazy about 'Every Day', and FFG is a bit too 'noisy' for me, especially towards the end. But, I liked his work with Melissa Etheridge, and I'll admit it...I have a guy-crush on the big lug.

Other than general comments - I cannot remember anything that eye opening.

She must have liked him though becuase he produced Peacekeeper on SYW (http://www.johnshanks.net/) - which is interesting because that version does not sound that wildly different than LB's GOS version, which I like better.

She said Lindsey liked John's work on POTU and marveled that he was able to work such wonders on a song that Stevie had had for years.

She spoke about working with him in an E Universe Live radio interview right before the album was released. Perhaps someone has the audio or a transcript of it?

She's said nothing but positive things. She was very glad that he worked on her songs, seeing Sheryl Crow didn't know what to do with a few of them.

I actually had the audio, so I've uploaded it for anyone who wants to check it out. The interview was actually pretty good. It's a little over 20 minutes long. She talks about John Shanks toward the beginning. Enjoy.
