Lol what??? This is one of my favorite of her hairstyles! I prefer the natural waves she had sometimes during the SYW era, but still love this too. I guess we just all like different things.

I liked it too. I always thought she did it to make her body look smaller since she had put on weight, but I think she said something about a bad perm and she did it to hide the bad perm.

I like that she was still wearing all the layers, shawls, and long flowing sleeves. The absence of those really detracts from her whole stage presence, I think.

I thought, in the live practice clip on CBS, that she had a return to the crimped hair style. I wish it would make a come back. She looked great in the clip of The Chain. Crimped hair - and something besides black. She looked good. Bring back the crimp look!

She also wore it in some MTV interviews to promote TINT.
I was so happy to see the bubble-do gone when the "Seven Wonders" video was released!

Keep in mind Stevie's SA hair (at least for the tour) wasn't crimped. It looked that way because she wore in braids at bedtime and then blew it out before the show in order to minimize the frizz from a bad perm. She said it looked kinky on top and a broom on the bottom after the perm.
