Actually...I really like this video. You may all think it's a bit amateur but if you take it in context with the words and the pace of the song, it's really quite cool.Yeah it's a bit hard on the eyes ( I have four in this case , so it's even worse) and to be honest, I would have liked to have seen a smile from our guy (he looks knackered if you ask me!) but that aside, it's all about how fast paced life is, how we all live in the rat race (it's probably worse in LA, lets face it all that heady FM stuff etc), how life just passes you by in a flash, a blur, and yet he's saying that his "other half" (his own self/ Mrs B) can show you how to slow down, go back to basics (ie showing the baby photos, family) and finally going back to nature and the trees at the end, thats what it's all about.
I think, it's a clever video, a little glimpse into his world maybe, personally made by him, perhaps. I even quite like the song. Maybe next time Linds if your'e watching this space, we could have a happy video (assuming you are of course) and one that we can drool over

It does remind a bit of big love and countdown indeed , although must admit that i prefer both those video's.
the smirk he does and the old pic's collage are nice though and it is nice to have a video anyhow

That is what i got out of the video too. I find the "hallway" part especially cool, as now the door is open at the end of the hall, and that room is filled with light. Symbolic of overcoming those walls, closed doors, finally finding his way to the "light". blah blah. I am not a fan of the homemade quality and the soundboard shots of him "reflecting" are weird, IMHO. I do like the theme though.

I completely agree. Plus, I rather have something personal than yet another crap ass video with a few half naked ladies, preferably dancing around in their thongs and ultimately not saying a single thing. It has sworn me off of MTV years ago. Blegh.

haha..you know the most illustrious one of the lot has gotta be Robert Palmers "addicted to love" I know they weren't half naked, (they were dancing sort of and not saying anything though) but that one ALWAYS makes me smile..fab

i just watched it because i didn't want to spoil my lindsey day experience. the video is alright. i like it, but i'm not like, "wow that was hugely impressive!" obviously it's better than most of the videos that are out now.. but i guess it just takes a lot in a video to impress me anymore. here, it just doesn't look like they've tried very hard. that's understandable.. it's not like lindsey's market is on the video channels, so i'm sure it's just not a priority.

anyway, he looks totally baked in the face shots where he's just sitting there looking at the camera. those are the best parts.

I think he's doing this all for us .... I really do. All the devoted fans he met on the SYW tour. He knows we love him and that we don't want all of that commercialism, esp. if that's not what he wants. We just love him and think he's a genius! (I told him this a few times at the shows ... ok, more on the side of how much I loved him, but you get the point).

I do too (think he's doing it for all of us). There have been a couple of things that suggest maybe he or Mrs B (I'm going with her) have been looking at what we post and actually doing something about it. The white shirt on the FM tour thread, Geralds plea for "I know I'm not wrong" to start. Some of the more musically minded Ledgies have also expressed their honest opinions of him lately and by gum, someones sat up and thought "hmmmm" All I can say is, a big thankyou to whoever it is, who's taking note and making it happen . It's a very good time to be a Ledgie and a Lindsey fan
