I know. I love IWY as well. It's just a sweet song and the video is too cute. LB compiled all that home-video-like documentary footage into some worthwhile theatrics because every time I see that clip of Stella being held up as she leers down at the camera...I can't even.

At the Saban theater, when Kristen was holding Stella she was playful with her and kept nudging her with her head and trying to get her to smile or sing or dance. Stella was having none of it. Made me wonder if she was up past her bedtime -- or just grumpy like Dad.

Probably the latter. Lindsey said so himself that Stella was the most like him in that one tour video. I believe he said she was pushy or something to that degree, and she certainly has an edge to her personality that is quite captivating like her daddy.

The "It Was I" video is horrific. It makes "Trouble" look like a cinematic masterpiece.



The concept could've gone somewhere but its execution is inane, and Lindsey is so awkward all one can do is cringe. Lindsey's sex appeal, where hast thou gone? Who is this effeminate man with the embarrassing hairdo futilely trying to make "sexy" faces at the camera while poorly lip-syncing "dadadadadadadadadada"?

It doesn't help that the song is insipid, IMHO. They picked that rusty old number as the second single? mmmmmkay. I'd have gone with "Mary Lee Jones."

Ah well. We've all done things we're not proud of.
