Default ChickenShack album cover?

I was discussing Chicken Shack with my dad earlier (the only one in my family who pretends to listen to my Christine/Mac ramblings), and he mentioned one of their record covers.... Something about them being all in medieval outfits? That doesn't even sound familiar to me, and I've never seen anything like it online. Not even on a single. Is he mixing it up with something else, or is it something of a rarity that actually exists?

You mean this?

I think it's a post-Christine album just called "Chicken Shack"

That must be the one. It's definitely post-Christine. Paul Raymond, the keyboard player who replaced her is in that picture. The title of the album is 100 Ton Chicken. It's part of the new Chicken Shack box set I just got.

Ha! That's neat. Too bad wasn't a part of the band then. Thanks for posting that, though!

I get the feeling that album cover would never have happened if Christine had still been part of the band

Hey, I'm right with you there Such a shame Mac never saw the need to dress up like something out of Robin Hood like that, then we could have had Maid Stevie as well, plus Outlaw Lindsey Buckingham. God alone knows what Mick would have looked like

Amen to that. As amusing as it is, I can't imagine Christine allowing herself to be the maid of the Renaissance Fair.

Now Mick and Stevie, on the other hand, wuld probably have thrilled to play out some Arthurian-Guinneviere (sp?) fantasy! Maybe as an alternative Rumours cover? he he.

That was the first Chicken Shack album after Christine's departure. Kind of interesting that within a year or so of this album, everybody but Stan Webb would end up in Savoy Brown along with a guy who would one day BE in Fleetwood Mac, Dave Walker.

Paul Raymond (RIP) went on to play keyboards & 2nd guitar in U.F.O.

Wouldn't she be Maid Perfect?

But then she was, anyway.

Yes, she was. She didn't actually change her stage name to McVie until she joined Fleetwood Mac.

Now, that would have been something to see.

She did have some very amusing Halloween costumes though.
