That's wonderful! I'm glad you were able to see it. Sounds like it was a wonderful production.

I love both Wish You Were Here and Only Over You.

I'm right with ya on hearing it on the radio.

I agree it's one of the best songs on Mirage to skip over.

I didn't like it for years(I've always hated songs that I wasn't capable of singing along with), but I love it now.

A vocal the old goat could NEVER get within a mile of doing herself. Christine was amazeballs.

It's really/truly some nice work by BuckVie w/ John and Mick. I'm glad you finally appreciate OOY.

The high and low of OOY is beautiful all by itself. The way her voice goes up and she holds the OUT and then the way it goes down for "only over you". For me the vocal matches the emotion. Yes, I'm manic, I'm crazy, but only over you. Otherwise, I'm sane and rational.

I think it's lovely.

YES! All of that. Plus we get a nice classic Mac jam at the end. Its a fantastic music track even if someone is not crazy about the song. I love Mick's little drum roll near the end. These little jams always highlight what a great section they were.
In the early days it was my least favorite Mirage track. Now its one of my favorites. Its pure dreamy, lullaby realness.

I heard Beautiful Child on Yacht Rock Radio Friday morning. I was really surprised. I'd love to hear Angel on that station.

That's a great deep cut.

The Chris/Lindsey live concert intro to that song is really something. While its a great track, its live performance blows the album version away. Chris on tambourine really using it is fantastic live footage while Stevie is loosely waving hers. Chris is like "Girl, let me show you how to rock a tambourine"

The intro is one of my favorite things Mac ever. And yes, Christine knew to really play a good percussive instrument. She was so cemented in Mick and John. Love her on Oh Well, too.

I was bawling during Songbird, at the CM tribute I went to last Friday.

A huge part of our lives is gone.
