Im a Virgin FM concert-goer..what can i Xpect?

Hi,

I am going to my first ever FM concert in Dec in Manchester, Uk. What am I likely to expect from the guys? The whole picture would be nice...atmosphere/energy/vocals/length/audience type.

EVERYONE'S concert experience will be different because we all perceive things differently....that said....you can expect about a two and a half hour show. The audience differs as well tho, some cities are MANIACS (By Brian's (estranged4life) account, OK City were NUTSOS!!!) and some are dead weight (Dallas

), but like I said, it just depends.

I'll be in Manchester too (FRONT ROW BABY YEAH!!!!!!!!) so I will be experiencing a TOTALLY new experience since I've NEVER been to England before (and have butterflies as I type that!!!! LOL) so we'll BOTH have a neat, new experience.

Vocally, I can't say, because they sound "different" each night, some nights Stevie is ON in terms of screaming during GDW and twirling massively during Stand Back, other times, I've heard she was more subdued, but that is what is GREAT about FM shows, they CAN change (LMAO!!). Sure, LB gives his same old speeches but dangit, there ARE different things that go on. LOL

Atmosphere...well....depends, like I said, I don't know WHAT the M.E.N. Arena looks like except for on the website with that whirly webcam, but from what seteca tells me, the audiences in England are CRAZY NUTS, so I'm willing to bet, we're in for the ride of our lives!!! EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Hmmm... not sure I agree with that. Having seen Stevie in the USA and then The Eagles in the UK I found the UK audience much more subdued. A lot of Brits can be a bit stuffy IMO.

Pip, I HOPE AND PRAY they aren't subdued on the FM nights, because that's what makes or breaks a show, IMO...if the audience is ON, the band is ON and the show is GREATNESS!!

Maybe it's because the Eagles are more soft-rock...they don't really rock it like Lindsey does? Heh.

Well there will be an invasion of Fireflies at most of the UK shows and we certainly won't be subdued!!!!!

I hope I am wrong about the audience but for seated venues people over here do like to sit unfortunately. This is why I like general admission!

Well....

Im english and i AM OUTRAGEOUS!!!! i will be dancing like stevie in her red rocks and i will probably be 5 double vodka and oranges off my head!!! lool

So, If ppl are like me, then it will rock...but men arena has a capacity of 20,000 so expect one of the best FM concerts ever.
