Still ridiculously in love with those low notes at the end for some reason. But, yes, fantastic version. ADORE this song's evolution and performance on this tour.

It's really quite remarkable how this very old song has transformed since the beginning of the tour, and continues to. After work I watch the GDW's from the previous night's show and I'm just blown away. Now even the ending is changing and becoming longer than it was. And yes, those low, low notes at the end are amazingly creepy. it's a shame this video cuts off before the end but better to have most of the performance than none at all! And I love the new, lower boots she's sporting for this song.

SAME! I was not expecting that ending at all (I deliberately didn't watch any videos of earlier concerts of this tour so as not to spoil myself, so not sure if they've featured before) it was spine tingling!

Right on! I want one more FM record/single/whatever just so LB can use these super lows she's showing off.

Oct 05 2013 02:50:46 Oct. 05 (Birmingham Mail) -- I'M very surprised that your reviewer Steve Adams only gave the Fleetwood Mac concert four stars and thought there was too much melodrama. I totally disagree and loved the way that the band interacted with the audience unlike some of the modern bands who just grunt their way through a performance. As for the criticism of Lindsay Buckingham being pompous, that is ridiculous. No mention of the fact that they were on stage for 2 hours 40 minutes. My opinion was that it was a fantastic concert with great songs and superb musicianship. Definitely a 5+ star performance forme. John Ramsay, Solihull |

Birmingham Mail Review: Fleetwood Mac, at LG Arena, Birmingham
30 Sep 2013 11:37 http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/what...-arena-6114486 Rocks greatest soap opera goes on and on... By Steve Adams Forget Downton Abbey, if you wanted Sunday night drama then the LG Arena was the place to be this weekend, as Fleetwood Mac offered another episode in rock’s longest-running soap opera. The Anglo-US act will forever be remembered for Rumours, one of the greatest and biggest-selling albums of all time, which was inspired by the band members’ dissolving relationships - and for some reason they feel compelled to milk the melodrama at every opportunity. Singer Stevie Nicks and guitarist-singer Lindsey Buckingham – whose break-up provided by many of the songs on that album - arrived on stage holding hands, turned to face each other during several poignant numbers and even shared a hug during Sara. It was frankly overkill – as were some of the extended introductions – and detracted from an otherwise excellent show. Sara itself was a highlight, and while Nicks can no longer hit the high notes on tunes such as Rhiannon (Buckingham largely did that for her), she remains a captivating performer with a great set of pipes, gloriously exemplified on Landslide, Silver Springs and new – but old – song Without You. That said, Buckingham was the undoubted star of the show, and while he remains a frustratingly pompous figure – he’s as aware of his talent as we are – there’s no escaping the brilliance of his guitar playing, notably during an extraordinary acoustic rendering of Big Love and electric wig-outs on I’m So Afraid and Go Your Own Way. The band did just that on this gig – there was no room for a Christine McVie guest slot, as at the London shows – and with material as strong as Tusk, Second Hand News, The Chain and Don’t Stop, come the end no one in the packed house was quite ready for them to Say Goodbye. |
