Does anyone know why Mick has that bullet proof glass looking thing around his drum kit? haha its been makin me wonder lately

It's called a drum shield and is made of plexi glass. It's used to reflect the sound and help with the overall acoustics. If you don't have the shield up, the other musicians are overwhelmed by the drums, and no one can hear anything properly so the sound would just be "too much". It also causes the sound to bounce back to the drummer which they love...
