Lightbulb Don't forget to Fall Back!

Don't forget everybody to set your clocks back 1 hour for the ending of Daylight Saving Time. Get ready for it being dark at 4:30 pm, at least that's how it is here in Tennessee. I suppose this only applies to US Ledgies - not sure if other countries follow this practice or something similiar.

Yeah to be technical it starts at like 1 am. We just set our clocks back 1 hour before we go to bed.

Our clocks went back a full week ago. I hate coming home from University in the dark. Although considering I've been getting in at 8am and staying until 8pm all week I think it's kind of expected lol.

The state of Arizona (except for the Navajo Indian Reservation), along with other small areas/pockets of the US, does not observe Daylight Savings. Which is fine in theory, as DST- as a concept- is a outmoded joke, but it was always so annoying (growing up in AZ) being so ass-backwards out of step with the rest of the country.

Thumbs up I agree with LukeA...

that it "is a outmoded joke".

What I find funny about it that it was extended a few years back, so now for most of year we run an hour ahead in time!

And we in Indiana didn't, from the late 60's, until about 4 years ago. I wish we could just keep the later time, year round. Gimme that extra evening hour of daylight!

Just got my 3 clocks adjusted. Think I'll go on to bed and enjoy the extra sleep.

That was one of the things I loved about living in Az. It's annoying changing clocks.

Is that all? Three? I can count 15, and that's probably forgetting a couple.

I think it's Sundae night we're supposed to change the clocks, not tonight. My calendar lists it as Sundae and my computer still reads 1:37 am.

Eh, I found it more annoying adjusting to everyone else. Cable TV schedules always inevitably got screwed up in the 1-2 weeks after a switch. NFL Football abruptly starts at 11AM instead of 10AM. Plus, the inevitable "what time is it there?" conversation that happens dozens of times (with the requisite 15 second "AZ doesn't observe DST" exchange) every F'ing year.

Then again, I don't own any timepieces that don't already automatically change, so
