You have no idea how much i love that you call Stevie Mama. I LOVE it so much. I don't know why. But it is perfect.

You all will pelt me but I saw Paul Simon in concert and I would absolutely pay that amount to see him again. His show was unbelievable. Cher? I'd only go if someone invited me...and that's if they were cheaper too. I'm not really into her.

Capacities listed in Billboard/Pollstar reporting are often manipulated to make it look like a show sold out clean (or didn't bomb as badly as it did).

I am actually pretty impressed that they're making this much - most of the other acts on this last were either for more than 1 show, or for more than 1 band on the bill.

Yes, as an eyewitness to this, I can tell you that I was upgraded from my upper level seat to a $150 lower level. This show, while I felt was the best of the 12 I saw, was also probably the most poorly attended. Some of this can probably be attributed to the terrible weather in the Detroit area that day, but not all.

Doesn't that mean there were only 1000 empty seats? Am I misunderstanding it? I don't think that's that bad. Boston had like 5000.

Well, what happened was that when they upgraded me, there was a entire 3 section area in the upper level opposite the stage that was blocked off with a curtain save for like the first 4 or 5 rows.

Capacities are easily manipulated. The actual capacity (in the seating configuration that FM was using) at this venue is closer to 18000-18500.

The average ticket price is ~$71, which shows just how many tickets were sold at deep discounts.
