A quick visit to Wikipedia suggests the song was written about Jenny before they went to India and was inspired by her enduring a heroin overdose. Tut tut, she seems so prim.

Judy Wong is on that blog also. It's a pretty interesting blog. I didn't know about The Butter Queen or that she died in a fire a few months ago. Sad. A lot of the girls are dead. Jenny and Patti are lucky to have made it. I had no idea Jenny used heroin. I really must read her book.
