Default How to pronounce Jim Recor’s name?

Does anyone know for certain how Jim Recor pronounces his name? Is it like “wrecker,” or “re-core,” or something else? He’s the Fleetwood Mac associate who co-wrote “Love in Store.”

I thought it was pronounced Reh-core? Not ree-core.

Isn't that Sara's ex husband? I thought it was pronounced ra-kor. We may have to ask her on Twitter.

I agree. However as a non native-english speaking guy, I must say I never completely understood the english pronunciation logic.

For example, why blood and good is pronounced different. Or door and poor. Or great and beat. Or steak and speak. And to this day I'm not so sure how the name Hilfiger is pronounced.

door and poor are actually pronounced the same. they rhyme. all the others, you're right, though! my Mexican boyfriend still has pronunciation issues and he's been here over 20 years.

Really? I learned to pronounce poor like good (I mean the "u"), not like blood ("o"). Or maybe both are correct? Like direction, where the i is pronounced like ee or eye, both are correct, or so I learned.
