With that song, I don't need more excitement. . .

but your responses are funny. AND it reminds me of something a friend of mine said to me. Something along the lines of:

"Lindsey Buckingham is a true artist. In everything he does, he's always EXPRESSIVE. It's just that outside of music (which he's mastered), he's not particular EFFECTIVE."

It is that relationship between his genius and his silliness that, I think, accounts for the ribbing he gets around here. I think everyone recognizes that you can't have one without the other. lol. You might say it reaffirms one's faith in cycles.

Did he give all of his footage to the team and say..."Make me a movie!"

And it said "to be continued" at the end. Lindsey with the handheld camera is somewhat a menace to society.

Fascinating.

I can't wait for the next installment- the limo ride from the private plane to the hotel. (cue "Street of Dreams")

Maybe we'll even get a teaser clip of JJ The Tour Manager finagling Executive Level rooms for the band members at no extra cost (cue "Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind")

Coming this November!

The cost for those private planes is pretty expensive. I would think that that alone could eat up much of the profit Lindsey might have otherwise made from the tour.

Exactly. Unless Lindsey's booking agent required it as a separate line item fixed expense (ex. $10,000 in jet fuel for each date) in addition to his g'tee + potential overages, it came out of his overhead.

Then again, no reasonable person would have ever thought that Lindsey was doing all of this (the album & the tour) for the money, because there wasn't any to begin with.

Nice that he remembered the existence of this song (ok, maybe someone reminded him of it). As for the rest, best left unsaid...

That's exactly what I was thinking. When he was in Utah for the film festival, he claimed that he'd only written music for one movie, meaning Holiday Road and it occurred to me that other than ISA and the Tusk tunes, the guy has no memory of his past songs. He's forgotten they existed. The rain (and weed) has washed his mind clean.

Gee, I wasn't aware that I had used "faces of glass" three times.
