Default The 1970s -- Olan Mills

Looking at old Olan Mills portraits gives you the best impression of the 1970s. Click these thumbnails & enjoy.

Bobbi wasn't the first waitress to fall for her manager, but she & Dale both got fired from Shoney's.

Olan Mills Backdrop #4: Bucolic Meadow With Split-Rail Fence. Is that an animal carcass behind her?

The Purvis family made several stops along the Oregon Trail, documenting their twelve-month journey. This photo was taken just two weeks before the dysentery took Momma to Jesus.

That dude wore a tie for nothing.

Drake won "Bitchinest Mullet" his senior year by a landslide.

Thoughtful Lance. Mirthful Lance. Two sides of a delightful coin!

The glasses were free with a purchase of Brut cologne.

Default More Olan Mills Goodness

I'd hide my face, too, little girl.

Nothing says 1974 quite like denim & helmet hair!

It's so cute when couples have matching hairdos.

You'd think Pearle Vision would throw in another two pairs for free.

Olan Mills Backdrop #12: Library.
It might be more believable if the "shelves" weren't sloping downhill.

This photo isn't discolored. The '70s really were that orange.

Here, Dawn & her recently exhumed sister, Gorgotha, pose with Scraps.

Hey, I've been looking all over Ebay for this rare collector's item! It's the original "two faces" cover photo for Bella Donna with Stevie's one-time lover Stuart ("Goshdarnit, people like me!") Smalley sitting in for her!

Too funny, David.
I always wondered if Nancy from Eight is Enough grew up to have her own family. I just never figured she'd groom her boys to look like Nicholas.

Sorry, mine is in PA. But I can tell you I look like Charlie from the 1st Willie Wonka movie in it. And I think I'm in a turtleneck & plaid slacks. So probably best if I keep it away from David.

LMAO!!! That's great.
I looked like a little angel, considering I wasn't quite 1 year yet.
