Default Sarah Brightman releases "Symphony"

I know there are a few Sarah fans here.

official Symphony album preview:

I've had the album on preview for a couple weeks and I hate to say I'm not impressed. the first 4 tracks are good, but after that, it all falls apart. just blah and boring. there's really only one track and one instrumental that has the gothic rock edge she's been hyping up on this album. I am really sad that I've waited all this time and the album just kind stinks.

Tracklisting is as follows:
01. Gothica - 1:20
02. Fleurs Du Mal - 4:10
03. Symphony - 4:47
04. Canto Della Terra - featuring Andrea Bocelli 3:59
05. Sanvean - 3:50
06. I Will Be With You (Where The Lost Ones Go) - featuring Paul Stanley - 04:31
07. Schwere Träume - 3:22
08. Sarai Qui - featuring Alessandro Safina 3:56
09. Storia d'Amore - 4:03
10. Let It Rain - 4:17
11. Attesa - 4:26
12. Pasión - featuring Fernando Lima
13. Running - 6:09 (hidden track after 2 minutes of silence)

Sounds more in line with European "Symphonic metal" (ie-Nightwish) than goth rock (Evanescence)...

Ironically she sounds alot like most female lead singers in that "Beauty & the Beast" (Yes, that it is what "Symphonic Metal" with male & female vocals is called) genre of music.

I wish she would sing "Hey, Won't You Sing Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song."

Andrea Bocelli's voice drives me nuts - he slurs and is lazy

I do love La Luna though and the songs in the commercial you posted sounded good if not great.

Thanks for the 411.

La Luna is perfection and Harem is pretty damn close. I guess that's why I am so disappointed with this one.

Time to Say Goodbye is my fav. - I even love the song despite AB's mumbling

But, Eden is a close second.

La Luna is also way up there.

Her voice is an unique thing - not really operatic (though the notes and range oare there) and note really a Broadway voice (see Merman, Lupone, Buckley, Paige, etc. )

Also, she looks like she is getting goosed when she hits the higher notes

OMG. I know. recently I've seen her really trying to not do that. when she was on the Today show a couple weeks ago I could tell she really wanted to do it, but somehow managed not to.
