Great topic! I was 10 when The Dance came out, me and my mom watched the video and listened to the tape in the car over and over, we wore them out. I think Rhiannon captivated me the most, and we always said we couldn't believe they didn't put Gold Dust Woman on the album!

You Make Loving Fun-as a little boy when it came out it sounded very unique to me, NOT like anything else on the radio at that time

I'd have to say Little Lies made me a die-hard fan. I was a year old when Rumours came out, so those songs have always been in my ear, but Little Lies caught my attention immediately on the radio, maybe because the arrangement was so unique (Lindsey and Stevie's background vocals in particular). After realizing it was FM, I pulled out my parents' copy of Rumours, which I played to death on a little portable kids' record player (and appreciated much more than when I was little), and then I got a vinyl copy of Tango for Christmas that year, with a new fully sized record player. Needless to say, I played Tango to death, too...

Always had a thing for drumming, and have been doing so since I was very little. When I was 9, my mom pulled me into the living room one evening, sat me down and told me there was this amazing drummer that I just had to see so 9 year old me witnessed The Dance for the very first time, watched Mick Fleetwood bang away doing his thing and was instantly hooked.

The next weekend she took me out and bought me every Mac album we could find at our local Camelot Music store and the rest, as they say, is history.

In truth, I was a little kid and didn't really have money to spend on music when the White Album came out, so age could have had something to do with it too. I was a teen with spending money by the time Tusk came around.

Interesting story, Michele.

(Thank you!) It is always so interesting to a an old timer, such as myself, to find members of the new generation of Fleetwood Mac fans.

I think at one point we've all played a FM album to death. I wore out all 4 (yes, 4) copies of Tusk.

I'm not sure about elle's favorite song.
But I do know she prefers Rick and Billy
over Lindsey.
