Christine has always struck me as very diplomatic, so if she did dislike Bekka I'm sure she managed to keep it to herself.

I never really thought about this. I don't think there was too much interaction between Christine and the "new people".

It's been fairly well documented, that Christine couldn't stand Dave Mason. I've never really read anything bad about Bekka, though. Bekka seems like a really nice person(we're FB friends, and she's always super positive), so I imagine she'd be hard to dislike.

She de-friended me.

Bekka singing "Gold Dust Woman" made me dislike her

Kidding..... *shifty eyes*

Wait....I facebook stalked her, & noticed she likes the show 'Roseanne" ....I have a tad more respect for her now. haha

So I guess you've seen the youtube video of Bekka and the Mac doing GDW?

I think Bekka's mother played a part on "Roseanne"?

Yes, I seen that, & I feel dirty, hahaha. I enjoyed Taylor Swift singing Rhiannon more than that.

That's cool! Roseanne is one of my favorite TV shows... friggen hilarious!

I'm sure it was strange for Bekka to do GDW, but such was expected, i.e. new Mac members "stuck" performing older Mac material for a year or so.

As far as Christine and Bekka go, Christine didn't tour with Bekka and the others. I'm fairly sure that Christine's songs on Time were recorded separately.

I believe Christine did a Q&A here on the Ledge around 94/95?

Oh and yeah "Roseanne" is a good show. I've been getting more into it in the past several months.

She did! She played the waitress that worked with Roseanne named Bonnie. For whatever reason, she used her new married name (Bonnie Sheridan) in the show credits.

Taylor "Tone-Deaf" Swift? At least Bekka CAN sing in a live situation without the need for ANY sort of electronic "pitch correction".

Not any stranger than Danny Kirwan singing "Black Magic Woman", Bob Welch singing "Oh Well", Lindsey Buckingham singing "Hypnotized" or Billy Burnette singing "Don't Let Me Down Again". She did precisely what she needed & was asked to do, make the song her own. Too bad...Stevie could've taken a few lessons on singing the song from her.

Not that I recall.

As opposed to her OLD married name "Bramlett"??

Her maiden name is O'Farrell.

Plus, her Rosanne character's husband was played by David Crosby.

Yeah I tried looking for that Q&A here on the Ledgie, but I didn't find it. Perhaps it wasn't on the Ledge or was removed recently?

I remember one question somebody had asked about who would make a good guitarist for the Mac(remember its 1994/95) and she replied "Lindsey Buckingham". I remember her saying too that Dave Mason was a strange choice for the newest guitar player.

I know I read this somewhere! Anybody know?

Arrow I found it!!

Apparently Christine did a Q&A with Warner/Reprise in 1995 before the release of the Time album.

Here's an excerpt w/the link below.

JBatman95 : Do you still interact with other members of Fleetwood Mac?
Christine: Very much so, I have not seen Stevie in a while. I have been recording with John and Mick for the last couple years, and just ran into Lindsey at a club a couple weeks ago and had a good chat.

Gre1440: Give us your perspective on this most recent incarnation of Fleetwood Mac.
Christine: I find it a bizarre combination of people, but Mick chose Dave Mason... I don't think he is a bad guitar player, but I just don't know how he fits in with Fleetwood Mac... Great guitar player he is, he would not have been my first choice.

MastrPeace: Who would have been your first choice, as opposed to Dave Mason?
Christine: Lindsey Buckingham, I think he was the most superlative guitar player this band will ever have. A true shining light. After Lindsey, everybody else seems a little palid. I'm not talking talent, just chemistry for Fleetwood Mac.

Otherwise, there is no mention of Bekka Bramlett.
