Ugh. But isn't this the same person who posted that the Mirage Deluxe was imminent before we got any news? He or she wound up being right about that. But still, this new "info" seems too unlikely and, if it is bs, really obnoxious given that so many of us are frustrated about the lack of progress on the new album that may never come.

Just makes $ense. When the rested
guys and gals are ready we'll know.

Trust me, Rusty knows.
It only makes sense. Why release it without the tour?

Yawn.

We know that the majority of it is probably in the can... they've been working on it for so long. Of course they are waiting on a touring schedule... thats the problem, they are waiting for Stevie to get with it which presently seems like late 2017. Based on the little leaks and insinuations I'd be very surprised they had it completely finished with Stevies music. Half-true guess work based on bits and pieces we already know about.

Even if they did get together in April to wrap things up, I'm still pretty sure we won't see the album until 2017 for a number of reasons. First, that will be the 50th anniversary of the band, the 40th anniversary of Lindsey and Stevie joining, and the 30th anniversary of TANGO IN THE NIGHT.

Second, at this time the band is without a label. As hot as the group is right now (and as good as I think this album's going to be!), I think the potential for a major bidding war is there. Knowing how Mick loves his $$$$ (as do they all, really!!), I'm sure he's going to study every offer very, VERY closely!!!

I said this in April

predict something in the late fall ,to cash in on putting tickets on sale for a 2017 tour , a few weeks before Christmas when people have no issue going into debt .
