Gift Of Screws was the name of Lindsey's next solo album. He began working on it in '94/'95 with producer Rob Cavallo, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. From what Lindsey said the atmosphere over @ Warner's was changing, and it wasn't a good time for him to be putting out a solo record. Then came in Fleetwood Mac and it got pushed a side for a longer period of time. Lindsey went back to the project after The Dance Tour. Soon enough those songs would be sucked into the new FM album, SYW.

Here are the song that were leaked a couple of years ago dubbed the GOS album, you may recognize some...

Gift Of Screws
Wear You Down
Come
Try For The Sun
Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind
Miranda
Gotta Get Away
Down On Rodeo
Red Rover
Bleed To Love Her
Steal Your Heart Away
She Smiled Sweetly
My Little Demon
Deep Dense
Given Thing
Say Goodbye
Murrow
Blue Turns To Gray
Shuffle Riff

Yea, new stuff. No one knows for sure how it got leaked. Maybe someone who was handed the tap from Warners leaked it, who knows.

Sorry Lindsey but I am thankful to the person who leaked them... otherwise these songs may never see the light of day... I love "shuffle riff" "got to get away"" "Wear You Down(steves riff)" and "someone has got change your mind" they all kick ass... I cleaned them on my computer and they sound so good and clear... I love Lindsey's music, it is so different from anything else, he definetly has his own style... and it is great...

Gift of Screws would have been an excellent album, maybe it still will be?
