I absolutely love shuffle riff!!!!!!!

I just got it and i think it has quickly become one of my fave LB songs. well i'm glad i got that off my chest. what do my fellow Lindsey lovers think?

That song is so good - even in its current sort of 'sketchy' state. Fingers crossed it resurfaces in some form on the next CD.

I love the bridge .... and how that leads into the last chorus. It's rockin.

Too bad the words are totally incomprehensible

But Nancy did a good job of 'translating' on her bn.net speculation pages.

I frickin LOVE this song!! That opening riff and the way he says the word "tarantula" is AWESOME!! Don't ask me why, I just LOVE the way he sings that word!!

This and Twist of Fate are two AWESOME songs that should be released ASAP!!

Dangit, I wish this was on SYW instead of like WTWCT or perhaps BTLH.

Thanks! The GOS demos are all quite... challenging in that area. "Given Thing" was so unfinished that I basically thought of words to match the sounds and put it down as "lyrics." You know, I was very surprised that the finished versions of the GOS demos (Come, Murrow, Red Rover) were the same vocals with no cleaning up of the enunciation. I like to understand what my man Lindsey is trying to say without reading the lyric sheets! He's never had a problem with clear pronunciation before... is speaking indistinctly a new "creative choice"? I remember someone saying his funky pronunciation for Red Rover was deliberate (which ironically is one of my top three on the album as far as favorites) but surely this is not ALWAYS the case. If he did record Shuffle Riff or any similar demos for another album, I hope to death he rerecords the vocals for THOSE, at least.

Anyway, the song "Shuffle Riff" ROCKS, despite all this! I hope it makes an album as well. Heck, I hope another album materializes, period.

yeah i think nancy's translation of Lindsey speech is quite good. I had pretty much no idea what he was singing till i read it. if this makes an album i would be so happy. all these gift of screws songs are so good, i don't know how anybody could turn them down.

Christy: I actually don't have twist of fate. is it that good?

I really wish someone could talk him into an independent release, i think that would make my half a decade.

Hell yea!! The song just absolutely kicks ass!!

lol!) is absolutely awesome...it just really gets me into a wicked mood! It MUST get released!! Next FM album or LB solo...I don't care, just get it out there (full lyrics, no mumbling please!lol!)...!!

I guess I was just completely mia when all the gos demos got leaked, but i'm very happy to have been brought back into the fold; it has definitely been worth it. I'm gonna try to get my hands on a couple more of them demos. Thanks everybody for responding; I appreciate it.
