same way here - i come first!

And I really would like to have one last album from the five of them, so long as it doesn't take up the better part of 2014.
so many good points in this post! agree with every single one of them!

agree, they need to work together. willingly. and indications are at least some of them are at the point where they are ready for that so they should do it!

personally, i'm actually not sure... what i want and what i think he should do may be actually 2 different things at this point... like many primarily solo lindsey fans i would primarily, for many different selfish reasons, want the solo stuff. i'd like the request OMS tour primarily, and new solo material in parallel with it (considering he kept putting out new material as he was touring in 2012, we know he can do it ). so my choice if i just look at what *i* want would be #6 closely followed by #5.

i prefer stuff he's been putting out solo to the mostly highly poppy (as he calls it fleetwood mac-y) stuff on the EP.

but as many of you have pointed out, this may well be the last FM album they ever put out, for many different reasons, and it seems these 2 months that unfortunately opened up should be spent on getting that album finished and therefore working on Christine's new songs in Lindsey's home studio (that way he gets family time too!) to add them to that half-finished Mac album. i guess SN might go to AUS for that screening she's supposed to have in Brisbane (although i don't see her doing that now when Mac is not financing her trip), but if she doesn't and she changes her mind about contributing her material to FM album, i guess she can join them from time to time too. but i primarily want to see what Lindsey and Christine can do together, so my choice of what Lindsey *should* do is #2 - work with Christine on new Mac material.

my order of choices would probably be:
6. put together a few solo / OMS tour dates and go out on the road and do those requests!!
5. work on some new solo material
2. get Christine to the studio to add some songs to those eight that he, John, and Mick recorded

and then far behind these 3 choices that i would love to see happen and by far prefer would be:
4. both 2 and 3
1. nothing, just sit at home, relax and enjoy the time with his family
3. get Stevie in the studio to add some songs to the 8 he, John, and Mick recorded ) - if you read his newly published interview he clearly says that he realized SN doesn't want to be pushed so pushing her i see as his last option as neither one of them seem to want it or thinks it's effective.

so i'm still not sure whether i'll put in my vote for #2 or #5... if there were no votes yet i'd probably go for #2, but since #5 has no votes so far and i really really want that maybe i should drop my vote there...

I picked the "both 2 and 3" option, though I lean towards getting Christine involved more (perhaps they can do more songs apart from those meant for a FM album and get Buckingham Perfect going? please please please). Especially since it's very possible that's she's gonna take a transatlantic flight at one point soon.

these kinds of questions really start me off...

Wouldn't be Buckingham Mcvie since she still uses John's last name?

Haha, true. Maybe they could use their middle names: Anne Adams.

Christine Adams, you mean? Christine is her middle name. She's actually Anne Christine.

Though they can also write together under Anne Adams. Not too shabby, if you ask me.

But their lives and songs could be a romance novel.

If the boys want to do it:

John John Buckingham

John's first name, one of Mick's middle, and Lindsey's last.

John once said that he was Lindsey Buckingham

How about they release an album as Buckingham Perfect, then a romance novel that may or may not be based on real people as Anne Adams.

Where do I place my pre-order for that book?

Lindsey looks like the midnight stalker. The funny thing is, you think he is dressed like that because he doesn't want to show his face, but the minute they ask him to take off the hood and glasses he is really eager to oblige.
