Ahh, tough love from Brian, who'd have thunk it? I'm so glad to hear you are doing well now, Alex. That was such a scary read hearing about your leg.

I sliced open my arm on a window when I was 18 so I can identify with the sheer terror you felt. My cut was a couple of inches from my wrist to a couple of inches from my elbow, it was also deep but it only cut the top layer of muscle. They did stitch me in the ER. I was also lucky because it just missed my wrist which, if cut, could have opened an artery and left my hand useless.

Oh yeah, and my accident was also painless. Isn't that so strange?

I am so glad you are put back together and I hope that your physical therapy goes smoothly and isn't too uncomfortable.

ALEX!!!!!!!!!

You are soooooo lucky!!!!! I am so happy for you that you will be okay in the long run!!!!! I guess, to paraphrase La Nicks, all the king's horses and all the king's men could put you back together!!!!!

Keep up with the diet and you will be better than ever!!!!!!! Also, does the injury prohibit you from upper body exercises (the straining may be too much ) - if not, then get some dumbells (sorry I am taken ba dum boom )

My thoughts and prayers are with ya!

Man Alex - what a story - I can only imagine the scariness of it all....all the blood - I got weak in the knees just reading your story - and yes, you are very lucky - but I'm so glad you came through okay - and with your leg intact

Good luck on your recovery

Alex, you are one lucky man. It's amazing you don't have any really serious damage. Glad to hear you're OK!

You should have saved that blood - as I mentioned in another thread, some chick called our clinic the other day asking us to draw her blood so she could use it for an art project. We told her no - she was really pissed. Yours would have come in quite handy!
