OK, I was browsing around cdnow.com, when I found this...

Mick Fleetwood, The Mick Fleetwood Story: Two Sticks and a Drum, DVD/VHS, Oct. 8 (Image): This DVD/VHS documentary on Fleetwood coincides with the release of Fleetwood Mac's upcoming box set, The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac, a new studio album, and a 2003 tour.

Opinions, thoughts?

Box Set = 2 Disc "Best Of" Album.....surely?

(Pink Floyd's "Echoes - The Best Of" album was also a double disc set, in a nice box!

While we're on the subject.......what the hell is the "Greatest Hits" album being released by Fleetwood Mac on the 28th October??????? www.cdnow.com are taking advanced orders for this AND the VBO package.

My thoughts... it's a simple miswording.

Unless whoever wrote it considers 2 CDs to be the equivalent of a boxed-set!

Seteca... I wouldn't be surprised if the 'Greatest Hits' set that they're listing for the 28th, is actually the import of the 'Greatest Hits' set being released in the UK on the 14th.

I am in hopes that the booklet and sound quality will truly warrant shelling out $20+ for songs we already own, in most cases twice over.

Regardless, my severe box set/compilation fetish won't allow me to avoid purchasing it.

about "it better come with a bonus DVD", Has anyone noticed that alot of the newer releases now have extras included? I saw the new Tom Petty release "The Last DJ" today and it had an extra Cd-Rom included with it...Brian J.

I think we'd all get a kick out of seeing that
