just noticed this thread and had to post. i absolutely adore her [frou frou and solo]. one of my favorite songs is just for now and this video of her performing the song is amazing...

^^ i have seen her twice - the first time she was sooo nervous. but her performances are incredible.

yep, i think that album is the perfect soundtrack to the beginning of a relationship, when you're obsessed and excited about every single detail (no pun intended) of the other person. there's always 1 or 2 lines in each imogen song that really get me, i think it's the way she says them. . . in "shh", everytime i hear her say "give me an hour and i'll give you your dream", i feel like i'm about to have a nervous breakdown (in a good, yet weird way if that makes sense)! other favourites on this album for me are "must be dreaming" and "hear me out".

shut up! that's my favorite line from that song...the way she says "dream" makes me so happy. I like "Hear Me Out" too. "The Dumbing Down of Love" and "Only Got One" are my other favorites...

I think you'd really like her...and appreciate how talented she is. there are a TON of videos on YouTube. and if you decide you want, I'll be glad to send you some of her stuff to sample...

this is true. you honestly can't go wrong with her, she's one of those artists that has yet to produce a bad song. i can't think of one track of hers that i don't love.

by the way, what's everyone's favourite from "speak for yourself"? i love "the walk", "hide & seek", "the moment i said it", "daylight robbery" and "headlock".

in hide and seek: oily marks appear on walls where pleasure moments hung before

I love "The Walk" and "Daylight Robbery" - my favorites are "Have You Got It In You", "Loose Ends", "Clear the Area" and "I Am In Love with You" ~
