I love Imi. Saw her in Boston last November, and she was AMAZING. Her album is a favorite of mine as well.

I would love to see her live...especially in an Apple store.

I spent one Saturday watching her live performances on YouTube...the woman is amazing. I read her blog too and she seems to be really creative and attentive in everything she does. her myspace says she's working on album #3. I think Gregg's gonna get me her debut and her Frou Frou work too.

um YES. "daylight robbery" is the wakeup song i set my alarm to.

i absolutely adore her; she is a modern day genius as far as i am concerned. love her voice, love her lyrics, love her music. . .love everything about her.

you should totally get her frou frou album ("details"), there are some great tracks on it. not quite as brilliant as "speak for yourself", but still worth it. "i megaphone" is also good.

oh, honey - there's an immy thread here somewhere... because i started it!

i love imogen - "speak for yourself" is one of my rare albums i can listen to from start to finish without skipping a song. my love started with hide and seek but i just adore both her solo albums, as well as her work with frou frou. i've seen her in concert twice now - she loves toronto! - and she is one of the few artists (along with FM and stevie) that i will pay to see live over and over and over.

oh, and if you haven't heard glittering clouds go find it! it's on itunes

There's a bunch of really great remixes of Hide and Seek. You know, if someone does an accapella song everyone and their mother has to remix it. But some of them I've heard are amazing. They sound like something Frou Frou would have done, like the vocals and the music were meant to go together. But the ones that don't work are really bad. It's a hard vocal to adapt beats to.

I really want to be able to distort my vocals like she does.

I'd love to hear some of those remixes. I'll have to track em down.

ok, now I'm obsessed with Frou Frou's album Details. Shh is my favorite. I listened to the whole album on repeat while at work yesterday. there are some pretty cool vids on YouTube too.

Imogen has an awesome blog. she talks about the songs she's writing and her travels. of course, I've lost the weblink...I'll have to find it.

who in the hell didn't Fleetwood Mac make an impression on?! this totally made my day when I read this.

btw, it's the first question/answer. if you can't read it, she basically says her brother would play FMac's TITN over and over and over until she made him stop so she could buy something else to listen to.

damn! on top of all the awesomeness she has to offer, imogen pulls this one out of her hat. i LOVE her.

p.s. shh is my favourite track on details. it gives me shivers everytime i listen to it. . .when i first got that album, i was with someone i uh, probably shouldn't have been with and that song so perfectly described everything i felt when we were together. to me, she is emotion personified.
