Is there a new pet thread? Couldn't find it, so I'm sorry if it's out there somewhere & I missed it. I just realized that I started this one in 2004.
 I know I haven't been here much lately, and I'm not posting this for attention or sympathy, it's just that those of you who have been here for a while will probably remember Bubba, who we adopted from a rescue almost 4 years ago. Sorry to say that we had to put Bubba to sleep this past Friday. He was 10&1/2. RIP, baby.

I am very sorry to hear this. But at least you know the last four years of his life were filled with fun and joy! He was a cute little (big) thing.

Wow this is a long thread! I am very sorry to hear about your loss. It is so hard to loose a pet, and it is loosing a family member.

It was really sudden. Got sick Thursday morning. 2 vet trips & several tests later they determined it was probably cancer & he was bleeding internally. We let him go Friday afternoon. Thanks for your posts, everyone. Hardest thing I've had to deal with in a really long time.
