How great to have a movie with Tony Hopkins to go so well at the Razzies...

But for the others I agree.

Actually I liked Pitch Black, it was a glorious B movie

I haven't seen it, the poster was stupid enough.

Thumbs down Blugh.

Vin Diesel...ugly AND can't act. YAY!

Loved Sixth Sense...hated Unbreakable and Signs...haven't seen The Village. Although, I heard on the radio or something, the twist, so....yeah.

Hey, did you ever end up watching Haute Tension? I popped it in again over the weekend to watch with one of my friends and, my word, that movie scares the bejesus out of me.

They're releasing it in US theaters in June, I can't wait to see what kind of business it does.

Whenever I see this box on the movie store shelf I think it says "Bitch Black" and I do a double-take. Haven't seen it yet.

But yeah, it was a good old fashioned and very scary slasher flick apart from that.
THAT IS THE EXACT SAME THING I THOUGHT AFTER I SAW IT! Why show that nasty scene with the head and...head? I almost lost it when the mother was killed, that was excruciating to watch.

I do think that it because more believable with a second viewing, though. I certainly picked up on some telling things the second time around. I think that the entire movie, save the scene in the asylum at the beginning and the very end, is told from Marie's point of view. Everything that happens in the movie isn't necessarily what really happened, it's what is going on in her head. Like in the beginning when she woke up from her dream and said "I was being chased by myself."

But it is quite terrifying, my word. I think I'll see it in the theatre when it comes to just to see what it's like watching it on the big screen. But you know they're renaming it for American audiences? "Switchblade Romance."

Aww damn. I was looking forward to that one, mainly because of Clive Owen. (couldn't care less about Julia big mouth) It's coming out here today... thanks for spoiling the fun

Wilson said that while "Fahrenheit 9/11" was a piece of anti-Bush propaganda, the president and his associates earned their Razzie nominations on their own.

"It wasn't Mr. Moore's editing," Wilson said. "It's the raw footage of these people just making fools of themselves."

Just a few seconds of screen time in "Fahrenheit 9/11" brought a nomination as worst supporting actress for Britney Spears, who sits for a moment blank-faced and chewing gum in the film before saying she thinks people should support the president in all decisions he makes.
LMAO!!! Too perfect!

I've seen Closer as well and was bored to tears. Its nothing but a bunch of people who spend the entire movie lying and cheating on each other with each other. I felt nothing for any of the characters. None had enough redeeming qualities to be likeable for their goodness, and none were bad enough to be likeable for their badness, you know what I mean?
I'm sorry, but if I'm going to watch a movie that's supposed to be character-driven, I need some worthwhile characters!
