Ah, I hope that's true! And it sounds very similar to the description that Knight posted at Mick's board about a "possible Ltd. Edition", so it might be "real" indeed. Thank God I pre-ordered it!

Question That's IT for bonus tracks?

Why not Space Needle?!

Smile Just an idea but...

Maybe it'll be the "bonus track" on the Japanese version?

Frankly I wouldn't be worried about Space Needle. With more Stevie solo and FM albums around the corner, if the song is good enough it'll arise.

LMAO - I love the Space Needle. I am still hoping to hear it. I think LB could make it killer, esp. by "enhancing" the guitar tracks in the demo I have - not to mention the already heavy bass line John could have just picked up and run with. But, maybe Space Needle was just too "velvet and fountains" for for LB (see Waddy W.'s interview ), or, SN said "I learned my lesson with Sara and you cannot cut one minute of my song - in fact here are 20 more verses - so what if its 20 minutes long my fans worship me and radio won't play me anyway!!!!"

I am so pleased to see that "Not make Believe" is going to be released.... I LOVE that song...the demo was begging for Lindsey to produce it..I bet he did a brilliant job with it...

I get the feeling that they didnt even record "Space Needle".
The word going around back in December was that they turned in and recorded 23 songs to completion..when it was going to be a double CD.
Lindsey mentioned 'I Am Waiting", "Not Make Believe" & "Gift Of Screws" in the Guitar World magazine interview...and with the additional rumor of "All the beautiful Worlds" & "Mistaken love" also being recorded.
It's looking like they didnt even attempt "Space Needle"....But on the bright side...we all do have a very good copy of the demo.

Frankly with this talk recently of other Fleetwood Mac recordings from Lindsey....I am of the mind that Stevie and Lindsey should just continue to collaborate under the name Fleetwood Mac from now on out...this new music just sounds tooo amazing..forget about solo careers...

Default Fleetwood Mac is back 100%

I agree with that last comment. I was so pleased to hear what Lindsey said about future Mac albums. Like in '75,77 and '79. There is no reason with this new energized band they couldn't put out albums in '05,07 and 2009. With Christine gone and room for 9 Nicks songs and 9 Buckingham songs lets say goodbye to solo albums. Lindsey has his creativity and Stevie has more than 3 songs an album. MORE FLEETWOOD MAC! The world needs it.

I agree with those last 2 posts...Let's face it, Lindsey is never going to put a solo album out in the near future and although Stevie's solo stuff is good, they really are better off together. Lyndsey is her best producer and i think he has a better chance of exposure with FM. I'm just afraid that it'll be another 5 years before we get anything from FM. However, if Stevie does a solo thing we'd probably get something a lot sooner.

Default Poster

What do you wanna bet that "special poster" that comes with the Limited Edition (as described on Ebay) is the same "Special poster" people who pre-order get from MickFleetwood.com?

BLY,

My thoughts exactly, just keep on recording albums with Mac in a more speeded up tempo, no more solo ventures, that would distract if they would tour in support of those solo projects, so the next Mac album would be postponed again and again. They are obviously on a roll now, so just keep recording more new Mac albums (let´s say 3 in the next eight to ten years).

By the way, did you guys also read on the eBay page that the 2nd disc included a Bob Dylan cover "Love Minus Zero/No Limit" as well (a studio version??) and two live performances from the AOL sessions and live clips of Peacekeeper and Say You Will? Wow, I´d love to have a disc of that whole performance!

It also stated that this bookset would contain a miniposter, now am I stupid or is this the same poster we are exclusively promised to obtain via the fanclub only??? In that case, GRRR! That would mean I would have bought the album twice! (or should I say "thrice", I also ordered the DVD-Audio!!

Greetz,

Marcel (buckmacnicks)
